Cargo Aircraft

Africa Air Charter can source the right and most cost effective available aircraft for whatever your cargo requirements are. We have the most up to date information on fleets, aircraft configurations and availability.

Reasons for Freight or Cargo Aircraft Charters:

  • Money is made by using the Freight carrier, not by owning it.
  • The costs to fly cargo on scheduled airlines are not always cost effective.
  • Some remote locations are not serviced by scheduled airlines.
  • Some of the requirements of the landing strips are not met by standard airline aircraft and need a specialized aircraft.
  • Chartered cargo aircraft can fly in to both international airports and rough landing strips.

In order to provide efficient services to its clients, Africa Air Charter needs the following information with a Cargo Aircraft Charter enquiry.

  • Cargo size (tonnage and cubic capacity)
  • Drawings for outsize cargo (to assist the loadmaster)
  • Route
  • When the cargo needs to arrive and who it needs to be delivered to (the Consignor)
  • Any special requirements e.g. dangerous goods clearance

Please use below comparisons only indicative as they are based on standard models and do not take into account the modifications of individual operators. All these aircraft are not necessarily available for charter in Africa.
